This universal insert nut is what attaches your components to our mounting systems. Along with any 5/16-18 bolt of appropriate length, it can be used to attach virtually anything to our mounting system (brackets, panels, etc..). For the creative and innovative Do-It-Yourself-er, the possibilities are unlimited. A slight loosening turn of the bolt or screw will allow the assembly to slide smoothly along the horizontally mounting rail, and a few tightening turns locks the component securely in place.
Our off the shelf components come with the necessary mounting hardware (including these insert nuts). This product page is for the DIY customers who needs more, for custom applications to attach to our mounting system.
